About Papilio Litora

Papilio Litora is an independent Scottish resortwear label created for women who want colour, confidence and something different.

Our collections begin with original artwork and bold visual ideas, then develop into coordinated swimwear, accessories and resort pieces designed to work together. We do not believe summer style should disappear into beige. Papilio is vivid, expressive and made to be seen.

Designed in Scotland

Every Papilio collection is shaped in Scotland, combining Mediterranean energy with a strong graphic point of view.

From Sunburst prints to colourful waves and geometric patterns, each design is created to give the wearer a distinctive look rather than another ordinary swimsuit.

Made to order

Papilio products are produced to order through selected specialist manufacturing partners.

Different partners are chosen for different products, including swimwear, accessories and premium pieces. This allows us to offer original designs across a wider resortwear collection without holding unnecessary finished stock.

Because products are made individually, small variations in print placement or colour can occur. These are part of the custom production process and do not affect the intended design or use of the item.

Our approach to quality

We aim to give customers clear information about materials, fit, care and production before they buy.

Each product page includes the relevant specifications and size guidance available for that item. We are continuing to improve this information as the Papilio collection grows.
